From September 1976 until June 1977 I lived in Newport Beach, CA with Steve Alexander, Marty Van Housen, and his brother Gary. I drove from there to Fullerton City College during my last semester, then in the spring, I enrolled at Orange Coast College. I would also drive from there to El Centro to do my Weekend radio show on KAMP. During my free time, Steve and I would stay up all night playing backgammon. We really loved playing that game as you might guess. I still have that board game in my game collection. Unfortunately I have never found anyone else to play the game with.
